In addition, he has helped several companies get up and running to successful sales and market positions as a VP of Worldwide Sales / Marketing / Business Development for companies including eIQnetworks, SOA Software, and AirTight Networks.
Tim McElwee, COO & VP Network Solutions
Tim is an industry veteran with over 20+ years of experience building and growing information technology companies. Tim has held multiple senior executive positions including CEO of Imperito Networks and VP of Worldwide Sales and Service for both Phoenix Technologies (Nasdaq PTEC) and Ramp Networks (acquired by Nokia). Tim has a proven track record of developing sales organizations, channels, and partnerships in multiple industries across global markets.
Steven D. Behrens, VP of Client Services
Steve has over 20+ years in the High Tech industry and has held senior sales and marketing management positions for industry leading IT Security vendors including Finjan, Phoenix Technologies, Ramp Networks, and, prior to Proficio, with Websense. Among his accomplishments are an IPO, several mergers and acquisitions and 2 Inc 500 Fastest Growing Companies. Steve graduated from the University of WI-Madison with a BS in Economics and is a member of several industry associations including ISSA and the Cloud Security Alliance.
John Humphreys, VP of Marketing and Operations
John has 20+ years of experience defining and executing breakthrough marketing strategies for IT information technology providers. He has held multiple senior position including VP of Marketing and Business Development at BRECIS Communications, and VP of Product Marketing at Ramp Networks (acquired by Nokia). He also held management positions with Madge Networks, Ungermann-Bass, Ingres, and Hewlett Packard. He has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with a focus on marketing.
Matthew Barth, Manager, Professional Services
Matthew is a senior security and networking expert with more than 10 years of consulting experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Proficio, he held the position of Senior Network Engineer at INOC where he was highly regarded by clients for exceptional technical knowledge and professionalism. Matthew is a CISSP and has technical certifications for ArcSight, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, and others. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
